I'm Lawrence's wife, Melissa. I pass another chain grocery store that is 5 minutes away from me to get to this Publix in another town 25 minutes away from me. Why, because the employees are AWESOME! On my visit today, 4 employees greeted me BEFORE I reached the produce section! Ten of them had greeted me before I left the store. If you're ever in this Publix, look for Russ in the produce section. He's the BEST!
This store is typically clean, brightly lit, and sufficiently stocked. The staff virtually go out of their way to serve you. The store does have some good sales but their regular prices can be high.
I went to the Wal-Mart off sigman road in conyers, an the bakery section was so unaccomidating, I left an went several miles further to the publix on 20 in conyers to the bakery section to get the same thing the others would not provide that they had but would not get.
I went in and spoke with a member at the customer service area, and she was rude and not very helpful. I strongly believe she shouldn't have been working in customer service. She sent me to speak with the store manager. He was speaking with an associate so I stood off to the side until he was done. He noticed me and another customer waiting to speak with him, but proceeded more than one time to walk away to another area and never even acknowledged us. Customer service can't be a high priority here.
The store is always clean which includes the bathrooms. I usually find what I need also. I also find the employees to be very friendly and helpful which you don't always find.
